Pottsville man charged with possessing fentanyl, cocaine

A Pottsville man is in jail after authorities found fentanyl, methamphetamine, cocaine and other drugs in his home.

Timmy Lamar Coleman, 59, was arraigned Tuesday before on-call District Judge David J. Rossi, Tremont, and jailed under $25,000 straight cash bail.

The bust resulted from an investigation by the Schuylkill County District Attorney’s Office, the county Drug Task Force, and Pottsville police.

On Wednesday, state police executed a search and seizure warrant on a Pottsville residence.

They seized quantities of fentanyl, methamphetamine, cocaine, marijuana and prescription medicine.

Coleman was charged with possession with the intent to deliver (methamphetamine); possession with the intent to deliver (fentanyl); possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine); possession of a controlled substance (fentanyl); possession of a controlled substance (Percocet); possession of a small amount of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
