LVHN, the region’s leading health care network, announced it has reached an agreement with Aetna to remain in network at LVHN. The agreement is effective immediately.

“Aetna is a critical partner to many health care networks, and we are happy to reach a good faith agreement that allows LVHN to continue providing the highest quality care to Aetna members,” LVHN posted it on its website.

“We thank our patients for their understanding as LVHN and Aetna worked to resolve our differences. We appreciate Aetna’s attention to the matter at the highest levels, allowing us to reach an agreement in the interest of the health and well-being of our community,” the health network said.

The network announced last week that it would be ending its relationship with the insurance company if an agreement was not reached by March.

“LVHN looks forward to continuing to strengthen our relationship with Aetna and to further enabling our patients’ care at LVHN as we fulfill our mission to heal, comfort and care for our community,” the network posted.
