State police at Hazleton are investigating the theft of catalytic converters from seven box trucks at a site in Luzerne County.

Troopers said the thefts occurred at Plum Air Incorporated, located along West 32nd St., in Hazle Township. On Oct. 26 at 6:33 a.m. three people and a driver used electric saws to cut the converters from the trucks. Three suspects were observed wearing dark clothing at the time of the theft. These suspects fled the scene in a newer black sedan.
