Police release liquor enforcement details

The Pennsylvania State Police, Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement, District 9, has released information about officers’ investigations of licensed premises in Berks, Bucks, Lehigh, Montgomery, Northampton and Schuylkill counties.

Police said agents visited 3,492 establishments licensed by the state Liquor Control Board to enforce liquor laws during the month of October.

The activity report is as follows: complaints received, 85; establishments where age compliance checks were conducted, 7; establishments found to have served minors, 1; violation letters issued for violations of liquor laws, 19; warning letters issued for violations of liquor laws, 24; citations issued for underage consumption and possession of alcohol, 3; and criminal arrests, 3.
