Four area tax collectors recently attended the 64th annual convention of the Pennsylvania State Tax Collectors Association, held Oct. 21-22 in Gettysburg.

The convention provided the opportunity for qualified tax collectors to obtain the continuing professional education credits required by Act 48-2015.

Attendees from Carbon County included Deborah A. Kohler, Weatherly Borough (Weatherly School District); Kathy Henderson, East Penn Township (Lehighton School District); Pauline F. Homm, Mahoning Township (Lehighton School District) and Mary E. Strohl, Lehighton Borough (Lehighton School District).
