One person was killed in a two-vehicle crash early Monday morning in Northampton County.

State police at Bethlehem said the crash occurred at the intersection of North Walnut and East Northampton streets in the borough of Bath at 4:58 a.m.

Troopers said a 2019 Kia Forte was being operated by Mark Allen Beers, 55, of Nazareth, northbound on Route 512 while a 37-year-old man from Bath, was driving a 2018 Dodge Ram truck, was eastbound on Route 248. The two vehicles collided in the intersection.

Beers was pronounced dead at the scene. The other driver’s name has not been released by police.
