Quality of life in America has become scary.

My wife told me that she was going to meet my son and his children at the Palmerton Halloween parade. No sooner than I said, “have fun,” a cold wave passed through me from my head to my toes. Immediately, a vision of a car driving through a parade, similar to the Waukesha, Wisconsin, Christmas parade, flashed in my mind. I told her to be careful, keep an eye out for trouble or anything unusual. She said she was also going to check the kids’ candy thoroughly since fentanyl is being made to look like candy.

What has our world become? It is a shame that we can’t even enjoy a simple American pastime. The only hope I see is that Nov. 8 is coming, please vote for candidates who will support, and put the American people first. The Republican “Commitment to America” is a start. Also, don’t vote for candidates who are trying to avoid debating since they must be hiding something. Take back America restore our quality of life.
