October 25, 1952 - Joe Fauzio tosses a pair of touchdown passes to Paul Ruzicka to help Nesquehoning pull away from Coaldale for a 34-0 victory. The two players connect on a 26-yard scoring strike on a fourth down call in the opening quarter, and add a 35-yard TD toss in the final frame. The winners, coached by Tony Mezza, also receive a pair touchdown runs from Bob Higgins - one from 16 yards out and another totaling 11 yards. The Nesquers add another tally when Don Macenka recovers a fumble on a bad punt snap and returns it 44 yards to the end zone.
