Jim Thorpe borough and fire officials were called to an oil spill along Broadway Tuesday afternoon. The call came in around 5 p.m. for a spill involving as many as 20 gallons of oil in a municipal lot. Officials applied absorbent materials to contain the fluid as they worked on maintaining the spill and clean up.
