An East Stroudsburg man has been charged with trying to have sex with a minor, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of Pennsylvania.

Matthew Robinson, 29, was charged on Sept. 26.

According to U.S. attorney Gerard M. Karam, Robinson attempted to entice an individual under the age of 18 to engage in sexual intercourse between July 16 and Aug. 2.

The case was investigated by Homeland Security Investigations. Assistant U.S. Attorney

Phillip J. Caraballo is prosecuting the case.
