State police at Frackville

State police at Frackville reported on the following cases in Schuylkill County:

• On Sept. 26 at 11:48 p.m. troopers conducted a traffic stop of a 2014 Dodge Avenger along Third Street in Minersville. The driver had fled a domestic dispute involving a firearm in the area covered by the Schuylkill Haven barracks.

The investigation revealed a passenger, Hezekiah Bethea, 21, of Minersville, was in possession of a concealed handgun without a permit. An area canvas yielded the discovery of a gun used in the domestic dispute a short distance from the traffic stop. Also charged in the incident is Damian Watson, 28, of Minersville.

• On Sept. 12 at 6:55 p.m. troopers responded to a crash at Lafayette and Mahanoy avenues in Rush Township. The driver, a 66-year-old man from Tamaqua, who troopers declined to identify, showed signs of impairment.

• Troopers are investigating a assault that occurred along Spruce Avenue in Ryan Township, on Sept. 28 at 11:18 p.m. A 43-year-old woman from Nesquehoning reported being involved in a argument that turned physical with a 57-year-old male from Barnesville, who troopers declined to identify. She had minor injuries, troopers said.

• On Oct. 3 at 11:43 p.m. troopers investigated an incident that occurred along South Kennedy Drive in McAdoo. A 58-year-old woman and a 51-year-old man, of McAdoo were involved in an argument and the man pushed the woman. He was charged with harassment.
