U.S. Rep. Susan Wild, D-Pa., has been appointed as the chair of the House Ethics Committee, Speaker Nancy Pelosi announced last week.

Wild, who is running for reelection in the 7th District, will serve in an acting capacity until her appointment is approved by the full Democratic Caucus.

Wild faces Republican Lisa Scheller Nov. 8 in the general election for the 7th District seat.
