Edward Joseph Dalvet III, 42, of Tamaqua, pleaded guilty to intent to possess a controlled substance, and use/possession of drug paraphernalia in Schuylkill County court. He was charged on Nov. 22, 2021, by West Penn Township Police Officer Marcos M. Duarte.
A firearms charge was dropped in plea negotiations.
Schuylkill County Judge Christopher Hobbs sentenced Dalvet to six months to 23 months on the controlled substance charge; and to 12 months on probation on the paraphernalia charge.
He was also ordered to pay a total of $200 in fees, and ordered to submit a DNA sample at a cost of $250.
In a second case, Dalvet pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct. He was fined $100 and ordered to pay court costs.
