A Monroe County driver is facing charges following a traffic stop.

State police at Lehighton stopped a 2006 Saturn in the 300 block of Mountain View Drive in Polk Township, at 9:30 p.m. on Sept. 23. The driver, Taylor Amoroso, 43, of Kunkletown, was found to be under the influence of a controlled substance and in possession of drug paraphernalia. She was requested to take a blood test. Charges are pending.

Troopers also noted there were two juveniles in the vehicle, males ages 13 and 15.
