State police at Schuylkill Haven reported on the incidents:

• On Sept. 14 at 7:46 a.m. a traffic stop was conducted of a 2006 Dodge Durango at Market Street and Fahltown Lane, in West Brunswick Township, for a traffic violation. As a result the driver, Edwin Martinez Lopez, 26, of Pottsville, was found in possession of drug paraphernalia and metal knuckles, which were seized by troopers. Charges are pending.

• On Sept. 18 at 3:08 a.m. a crash was reported at Washington and Wood streets, in Port Carbon, with the driver fleeing the scene. During a further investigation it was determined that Kurtis Downey, 38, of Port Carbon, was the operator of the 2008 GMC Sierra that crashed and was impaired while operating the vehicle.

• On Sept. 17 at 10:12 a.m. troopers received a report of a protection from abuse order violation, occurring along Graeff Street in Cressona. As a result Brett Hornberger, 35, of Cressona, was charged with violating the order and a warrant was issued for his arrest. The victim is a 40-year-old woman from Cressona.
