Jennifer Yuhas of Jim Thorpe, a Times News carrier, placed fourth in a statewide program sponsored by the Pennsylvania Newspaper Publishers’ Association to honor outstanding newspaper carriers.

Jennifer, 14, is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Yuhas and is a ninth grade student at Marian Catholic High School.

She and other winners received their trophy awards during a Luncheon of Champions, after which they were treated to a sightseeing cruise on a ferry boat and a trip on the famous Monongahela Incline. Assisting in the presentation of the awards was Willie Stargell, former baseball star of the Pittsburgh Pirates.
