Shiner completes a first-quarter 11-play drive with a 1-yard keeper into the end zone. Following a fumble recovery on defense by Doug Shiner, the Blue Bombers add a second score as Ed Shiner tosses a 15-yard touchdown pass to Bob Kolnik. From there, Joe Foran’s defense takes center stage. Palmerton allows just 55 yards of offense and one first down in earning the shutout win.
