A Monroe County woman is dead after a one-vehicle crash in Pocono Township Tuesday afternoon.

Monroe County Coroner Tom Yanac said the incident occurred at 2:09 p.m. when the driver, Nancy Bocchini, 73, of East Stroudsburg, was traveling along Hallet Road and Cherry Lane Road.

Yanac said her vehicle went off the road and crashed into a tree.

He said he hasn’t decided on an autopsy yet.

Yanac said the cause of the death is unknown.
