The Tigers, coached by Geno Poli, use a pair of touchdown runs and a defensive score to take a 21-0 advantage at the break. Johnny Yankovich gets Coaldale on the board with a 2-yard run that completes a 63-yard drive. Tom Terry doubles the score with a 23-yard tally, and Johnny Parfitt recovers a fumble and laterals it to Martin Kodlick, who runs 13 yards to the end zone. The Tigers add an insurance score in the final frame as Bob Winsko breaks the goal line from two yards out.
