September 16, 1961 - George Neyer scores three touchdowns and Lansford’s offense has a productive day in posting a 41-6 victory over McAdoo. In the opening quarter, Gene Pavlik throws a pass to Bob Petko, who is hit and fumbles into the end zone. Neyer alertly recovers the loose ball to give the Panthers their first score. Geno Nardini’s 14-yard run in the second frame sets up the second tally - a 1-yard burst from Bobby Gelatko. Pavlik tosses a 23-yard scoring pass to Mike Karnish right before the half to extend the lead. Neyer runs for scores of 15 and seven yards in the second half, while John Dubosky’s blocked punt sets up the final TD - a 10-yard run by Nardini.
