Camelback names new marketing executive

Theresa Lutz has been named vice president of marketing at Camelback Resort.

Kit Pappas, managing director of the Monroe County resort, said Lutz is a marketing industry expert who brings years of experience to the 560-acre resort.

“We are thrilled to have Terri join our team as we strive to elevate the multiple seasonal adventure experiences at our resort,” Pappas said. “Her insight and expertise will be invaluable as we focus on spreading the word about our recent upgrades and the experiences our resort has to offer.”

Lutz will head up all marketing activities for Camelback Resort - developing and overseeing marketing initiatives including advertising, collateral, social media and public relations.

Camelback Resort includes Camelback Mountain for skiing, snowboarding and snowtubing; Camelback Mountain Adventures for ziplining, a treetop obstacle course and alpine mountain coaster; Camelbeach Mountain Waterpark; Aquatopia Indoor Waterpark; and the 453-room Camelback Lodge.

Before joining Camelback, Lutz was assistant vice president of marketing for Tropicana Atlantic City, where she developed, implemented and managed all marketing departments and initiatives related to the Atlantic City property.

She has worked as a commercial manager for Carnival Cruise Line, director of retail marketing for Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida, and director of special events and promotions and regional director of special projects for Resorts Atlantic City in New Jersey.

Lutz attended the business administration program at Stockton State College in New Jersey.
