The Summit Hill Lions Club announced continuation of its American flag program whereby the flags are erected at various sites in the community in honor or memory of veterans from the community.

This week, five members of the Zuber family, sons of the late Walter and Catherine (Porambo) Zuber, are being remembered.

They include Stanley, Walter, Joseph, Frank and Mitchell. Stanley, an Air Force veteran, was the 2010 grand marshal of the Summit Hill Memorial Day parade.

The Zuber brothers have three other siblings, John, a retired teacher, and Mary Adams and Natalie Mace.
