The Carbon Builders Association is having a fundraising event on Oct. 1 at the Mahoning Valley Ambulance Corps for the group’s scholarship and workforce development fund.

Past events have helped the group sponsor the Carbon Career & Technical Institute Student Chapter, donate IRC code books, and award gifts and scholarships to graduating students of CCTI.

Doors open at 5 p.m. with bingo starting at 6 p.m. There will also be raffles, door prizes and an auction, as well as food, baked goods and refreshments.

Tickets are $35.

The event will be at 902 Mill Road, Lehighton.
