State police at Lehighton reported a hit-and-run crash at 5:43 p.m. on Aug. 20 along Riverview Road, in East Penn Township, Carbon County. Troopers said a Chrysler Town & Country was legally parked in a lot off Riverview Road when it was struck by another vehicle. After the crash the other driver fled the scene. Rachel A. Friedlander, 33, of New York, owns the Chrysler.
