• A Tamaqua man who called police to report a noise disturbance was jailed after officers learned he was wanted on a warrant.
Police said Joshua Fry, 41, of Tamaqua, reported the disturbance at 11:14 p.m. Monday. When police arrived, the individuals causing the noise were gone. Police learned Fry was wanted on a warrant and took him into custody.
• Tamaqua police cited a borough woman for disorderly conduct after they received two domestic incident reports Monday.
According to police, officers were dispatched to the 300 block of Pine St. because of a fight. The officers spoke with Billy Ann Perez, 39, who said she was arguing with a man. Police told her they would cite her if they received another call. At 8:48 p.m., officers were sent to the same location and found Perez outside yelling at people, police said.
She was cited for disorderly conduct.
• Two women face charges after Tamaqua police said they slashed the tires on a borough woman’s vehicle on July 17. A woman called police and said after hearing noise outside she watched security footage of two women slashing the tires on her car and throwing decorations off her porch, police said.
Damages were estimated at $537.42.
Police filed charges against Savannah Osty, 22, Tamaqua, and Kelly Ann Lewis, 45, Walker Township.
Osty was charged with criminal mischief and disorderly conduct, and Lewis was charged with criminal mischief, scattering rubbish and disorderly conduct.
