Carbon County’s retirement portfolio rebounded slightly after taking a significant hit last month.
Mark Sverchek, county controller and secretary to the retirement board, said Thursday the fund increased 6.5 percent from last month. As of Aug. 12, the fund stood at $87,951,974, up $5.13 million from July 15.
“We’re heading back in the right direction,” Sverchek said.
