The board of directors of Mauch Chunk Trust Financial Corporation released earnings for the period ending June 30.

Net income for the six months was $2.65 million, $166,0000 higher than the first half of 2021. On a per share basis, net income year-to-date was 79 cents compared to 74 cents last year.

For the three months ending June 30, net income was $1.39 million, $220,000 higher than last year. On a per share basis, second quarter net income was 42 cents and 35 cents, respectively, for 2022 and 2021.

Mauch Chunk Trust, the wholly owned subsidiary of Mauch Chunk Trust Financial Corporation, is a locally owned and managed independent community bank with its main office in Jim Thorpe.

The bank operates seven full-service community offices in Carbon and Schuylkill counties as well as a wealth management office in Jim Thorpe.
