State police at Lehighton reported two crashes in Monroe County.
• A two-vehicle crash at 5:58 p.m. on Aug. 12 at the intersection of Mountain Road and Spruce Road, Ross Township.
Troopers said Kenneth Zahl, 66, of Bethlehem, was driving a 2021 Tesla Motors Model X southbound on Spruce Road and Joshua Loane, 42, of Bangor, was driving a 2014 Dodge Ram 3500 truck westbound on Mountain Road.
Troopers said Zahl failed to stop at a stop sign and struck Loane. No one was injured. The Tesla was towed and Zahl was cited for a stop sign violation.
• A crash was reported at 5:52 p.m. on Aug. 14 at the intersection of Meixsell Valley Road and Blue Ridge Road in Ross Township. Troopers said Tatiana A. Ocampo, 33, of Clifton, New Jersey, was driving a 2019 Jeep Wrangler southbound on Blue Ridge Road and Gary L. Rundle, 61, of Saylorsburg, was driving a 2001 Dodge Ram 1500 pickup westbound on Meixsell Valley Road.
Ocampo made a left turn onto Meixsell Valley Road and struck Rundle’s vehicle, police said. The Jeep came to rest on the eastbound berm of Meixsell Valley Road.
Ocampo had a minor injury and was taken to a hopital by West End ambulance. Rundle refused transport, police said. Both vehicles were towed.
Ocampo was cited for stop sign violation.
