State police at Fern Ridge are investigating the theft of dealer registration plates from a Monroe County business.

Troopers were dispatched to Keystone Auto Dealership, 2003 Route 209, in Chestnuthill Township, on Aug. 3 for a theft report. Troopers said six state dealer registration plates were missing. The plates were discovered missing when the dealership was exchanging ownership between owners. The dealership didn’t know when the plates were taken, troopers said.
