State police at Lehighton reported on the following crashes investigated by troopers in Monroe County:

• A one-vehicle crash was reported at 5:40 a.m. on Aug. 7 along Meixsell Valley Road in Ross Township. Troopers said Mark D. Haydt, 56, of Kunkletown, was driving a 2013 Buick Lacrosse westbound when he lost control of the vehicle. The vehicle left the road and crashed into and through a garage/storage building located off the right side of the road.

Haydt was not injured. The Buick sustained severe damages to the entire front end and was towed from the scene.

• Another one-vehicle crash was reported at 10 a.m. on Aug. 3 along Kunkletown Road in Eldred Township. Troopers said Antonio Orlando, 64, of Saylorsburg, was driving a 2013 Cadillac CTS eastbound when a deer entered the road in front of him. Orlando was unable to avoid the animal and his vehicle struck it. Orlando was not injured but the vehicle had to be towed.
