Aug. 7: 9 a.m. Worship service, Celebration of Holy Communion, congregational meeting and roof project vote, vacation/staycation roof project raffle drawing: 10:15 a.m. Adult Sunday school.

Aug. 9: 5:30 p.m. prayer group at Scenic View. Aug. 10: 6 p.m. church board.

Aug. 14: 9 a.m. outside worship service (weather permitting), joyous noise offering; 10:15 a.m. adult Sunday school.

Zion Lewistown

Pastor Jim Williams will officiate at the 10:30 a.m. worship service this Sunday at Zion Church Lewistown Valley. Sunday school is scheduled for 9:30 a.m.

Calvary Lewistown

The 10:25 a.m. worship service will be held at the Lewistown Valley Tabernacle. Holy Communion will be celebrated. Sunday school is scheduled for 9:15 a.m. The morning service will be followed by the Sunday school all day picnic.

There will be a concert on Aug. 6 at 6 p.m. at the Tabernacle presented by Brian Free and Assurance.

Peach social

Zion Lutheran’s Culinary Crew is hosting a peach social on Aug. 18 from 4 to 6 p.m. or sellout. The menu includes fresh peaches, cake, ice cream and additional homemade food items.
