Radenhausen’s roundup: Entertainment around the area

Music fans will have their pick of acts to see locally and in surrounding areas over the next couple of weeks.

Jim Thorpe’s Mauch Chunk Opera House will host world-fusion music, tribute bands and the music-comedy of Aunt Mary Pat, while fanilows have the chance to see their idol Barry Manilow at Allentown‘s PPL Center.

In the retro-movie world, things will get real strange during the Mahoning Drive-In Theater’s Reel Weird Weekend V, set to include an appearance by “Blue Sunshine” director Jeff Lieberman. The theater will also hold a live puppy-adoption event, as well as a tribute to The Monkees.
