State police at the Hazleton barracks are investigating a criminal mischief incident that happened around 1 a.m. July 24 in Packer Township.

Police said a 65-year-old woman who lives on Round Head Road in the township reported someone damaged her mailbox and left the scene.

The damages are estimated at $100.
