Lansford and Coaldale residents may experience low water pressure and discoloration Saturday due to a fire training exercise.
American Fire Co. No. 1 and Coaldale Fire Department will participate in live fire scene water management training Saturday from 8 a.m.-2 p.m. The training will use the public water system, and could affect residents in the two boroughs.
Dock Street in Lansford will also be closed between Front Street and the intersection of Walnut Street and Klocks Hill.
American Fire Co. No. 1 announced the training in a post on Thursday, “This is a temporary inconvenience for the(residents), but it is vital training for the First Responders who volunteer every minute of their time to help protect the residence of Lansford and the surrounding communities.”
