Snerr’s homer comes during a six-run third inning as Thorpe turns a 4-2 lead into a convincing 10-2 margin. Excellent relief pitching from Tom Carrigan, who records the final five outs without surrendering any runs, preserves the win. Greg Strubinger finishes with three hits, while Mark Rothermel drives home a pair of runs. Fred Cerimele ends with two hits, one a homer, for Nesquehoning, while teammate Robbie Thear adds a hit and two RBIs.
