Michael Repko, East Summit Street, was elected to a five-year term on the Planning and Zoning Commission during the regular meeting of the Summit Hill Borough Council held last night in the borough hall.

He will replace Vernon Garrett, East White Street, whose term of office has expired and who stated he would not be able to attend future meetings due to his employment.

Repko was appointed on a motion made by Francis Lawton, seconded by Thomas Nothstein, that also received approval from Councilmen Thomas Miller, Thomas Magee, Steve Wargo, Grant Neifert and Willard Gottschall. Council members Jack Lisella and Wesley Hiles were absent from the session.
