Tom Yurchak belts a pair of home runs as Nesquehoning posts a 10-2 victory over Jim Thorpe. Yurchak goes deep during a four-run first inning, and blasts a two-run shot during a four-run third frame that extends the lead. The Hillers register an 8-1 win over Coaldale behind the pitching of Mike Makara, who strikes out eight. Makara also collects two doubles in the contest.
