The Panther Valley Senior Center announced the menu for the week of Aug. 1-5.

Monday: Hot Dog, Potato Wedges, Broccoli, Cookie or Chicken Caesar salad

Tuesday: Creamed Chicken over a Biscuit, Mashed Potatoes, Mixed Vegetables, Pudding or Tuna Sandwich

Wednesday: Vegetable Soup, Rotini and Meatballs, Zucchini, Fruit Salad or Turkey Salad

Thursday: Cajun Turkey, Sweet Potatoes, Broccoli and Cauliflower, Fruit Crisp or Italian Sandwich

Friday: BBQ Riblet, Oven Fries, Coleslaw, Cantaloupe or Turkey BLT

The senior center also announced the upcoming events in August.

Wheel of Fortune on Aug. 1 at 11 a.m.; Bingo on Aug. 2 at 10:45 a.m.; Game Day on Aug. 3 at 10 a.m.; Wii Bowling on Aug. 4 at 10:30 a.m.; Beachball Volleyball on Aug. 5 at 11 a.m.

Po-Keeno on Aug. 8 at 11 a.m.; Bingo on Aug. 9 at 10:45 a.m.; Speaker, Funding Solutions for Independence, on Aug. 10 at 11 a.m.; Sunshine Meeting on Aug. 11 at 10 a.m. followed by a Skeeball Tournament at 11 a.m.; Picnic at Memorial Park in Jim Thorpe on Aug. 12 at 9:30 a.m.
