Summit Hill residents turned out in large numbers for a live TV appearance by Joe Snedeker, meteorologist for WNEP-TV. The visit, part of the 25th edition of Snedeker's “Go Joe” bike tour, helped raise hundreds of dollars for St. Joseph's Center in Scranton. Snedeker also visited Tamaqua, Palmerton and Bowmanstown.
