Pleasant Valley School Board
With promotions come adjustments.
The Pleasant Valley School Board approved moving teacher Robert Hahn from the high school to the middle school to teach social studies. He is replacing Timothy McCutchan, who was promoted to assistant principal at the intermediate school.
The school board also rescinded the resignation of Michael Borger, head of maintenance; and approved several other personnel items. These include:
• Resignations - from PVES: Maegan Mostellar, Kindergarten teacher; and Kelly Heller, food service employee; from PVIS: Kelsey DeLuise, third-grade teacher, and Jodi Swanson, monitor; from PVMS: Heather Kleinle, computer technology teacher, and Heidi Hotz, food service employee; from PVHS: Kelli George, principal; Dolores Walsh, monitor, and Jarad Salazar, football freshman assistant; and Augie Kresge, fall event manager and volleyball message board operator
• Recall and remove from 2022 furlough list - Cassandra Crawford, Kindergarten teacher, to replace Maegan Mostellar; Maryanne Bridy, monitor at PVIS, to replace Jody Swanson.
• Recall and remove from 2020 non-renewal list - Jennifer Clayton, Kindergarten teacher, to replace Kelsey DeLuise.
• Retirement - Nancy Foertsch, substitute secretary.
• Professional staff building transfers - from PVHS to PVMS: Michelle Albanese and Ashley Thompson; from PVMS to PVIS: Deborah Butchkoski; from PVMS to PVES: Michele Antolick, Melissa Bitler and April Kresge; from PVIS to PVES: Christopher Becker; from PVIS/PVMS to just PVMS: Christopher Jarrow; and from PVES to PVIS: Todd Urland.
• Change to current assignment - Aleisa Kinsey, from reading teacher at PVMS to PVES as the new K-4 cyber teacher; and Brian Morgan, from PVHS school counselor to the new position of cyber school counselor.
• Supplemental contracts: athletic - Lowell Clemonts, freshman assistant, and Jarad Salazar, junior high assistant, both in football; athletic non-coaching - football ticket staff: Elaine Cucci, Erin Torrora, Jackie Tortora and Perry Tortora, at $36 per event; non-athletic - Maricatherine Garr, Science Department chairperson (9-12 grades); and Rich Petrushka, Technology (Industrial Arts) Education Department chairperson (7-12 grades).
