Pocono Harley-Davidson has grand reopening

Pocono Mountain Harley-Davidson held a grand reopening celebration earlier this month at 110 Hill Motor Lodge Road, Tannersville.

“The business is still Pocono Mountain Harley-Davidson, but now they are part of the American Road Group,” Kelly McDaniel, operations director said.

In 2000, Steve and Anne Deli purchased the Harley-Davidson dealership in Orlando, Florida. Over the past 20-plus years, they have taken that entity and built it into one of the most successful and sustaining family of Harley-Davidson businesses in the United States.

The American Road Group has seven other Harley dealerships and Pocono Mountain Harley makes it eight. Other dealerships include Orlando Harley-Davidson in Orlando, Florida; Laconia Harley-Davidson in Meredith, New Hampshire, home of the longest running motorcycle rally in the country in Laconia Motorcycle Week, and Wildcat Harley-Davidson and London, Kentucky. World renowned, they are among the most desirable motorcycle destinations in the world.

Their merchandise stores at Walt Disney World, Key West and elsewhere present Harley-Davidson merchandise in some of the most highly trafficked, accessible settings in the country.

American Road Group is made up of a leadership team and employee base committed to the Harley-Davidson brand.

“Both organizations were built on the foundation of brand loyalty, exceptional product selection, elevating the customer experience and embracing the Harley-Davidson lifestyle all while running sustainable dealerships and retail locations,” said Josh Smiley, chief operating officer.

The shop features new and pre-owned inventory and Harley-Davidson T-shirts.

Pocono Harley will host a Party on the Porch on July 30, featuring a complimentary lunch at noon and live music by Grant Wagner from noon to 3 p.m.

Everywhere you look inside the sales room, are shiny bikes of all sizes. If you don't see something that looks perfect for you to ride, it probably doesn't exist.
