The Times News/Lehigh Valley Health Network Athletes of the Year award ceremony was held Wednesday night at Penn’s Peak in Jim Thorpe. The female athletes honored included Pleasant Valley’s Alexandra Bush (lacrosse), Tamaqua’s Lexi Buchala (swimming), Palmerton’s Ana Recker (field hockey), Northern Lehigh’s Jordyn Hemingway (softball), Northwestern’s Faith Yost (track & field), Palmerton’s Brianna Moore (soccer), Marian’s Ashlyn Klitsch (volleyball), Jim Thorpe’s Skyler Searfoss (basketball), Jim Thorpe’s Gabby Nunez (tennis) and Tamaqua’s Grace Stegemerten (cross country).
