Credit defaults

The following actions were filed by credit card companies, or their collection agencies, for alleged defaults on credit card/loan accounts.

JPMorgan Chase Bank, Mechanicsburg, filed an action against Nicholas A. Gross, 320 Drift Rd., Palmerton, seeking $6,307.77.

Portfolio Recovery Associates, Norfolk, Virginia, filed the following actions: Brian Bachman, 208 Laurel Spring Rd., Lehighton, seeking $924.90; Ian C. Radler, 370 S. 7th St., Lehighton, seeking $4,958.90; and Lisa Fritz, 81 Spring St., Lehighton, seeking $7,015.26.

U.S. Bank National Association, Bensalem, filed an action against Michael J. McLeod, 3 Snow Way, Albrightsville, seeking $5,534.39.

LVNV Funding, Las Vegas, Nevada, filed the following actions: William Kath, 30 Nosirrah Rd., Albrightsville, seeking $2,315.19; and Thomas Caprio, 146 S. 4th St., Lehighton, seeking $992.67.

Bank of America, Charlotte, North Carolina, filed an action against Alexander Carrasco, 15 Mountain View Drive, Jim Thorpe, seeking $6,085.63.

Mortgage foreclosures

The following actions were filed as mortgage foreclosures for alleged defaults on loans.

MidFirst Bank, c/o 999 NW Grand Boulevard, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, filed an action against Johnathan Seibert, 230 E. Bertsch St., Lansford, over property at that address. Sought is $64,060.03 and continuing interest.

National Loan Investors, LP, c/o 5619 N. Classen Boulevard, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, filed an action against John J. and Cathryn A. Haber, 52 E. Market St., Tresckow, over property at that address. Sought is $14,700 plus continuing interest.

Loan default

GM Financial, c/o 4000 Embarcadero Drive, Arlington, Texas, filed a civil complaint against Greg and Annette White, 627 E. Patterson St., Lansford, alleging they defaulted on an automobile loan. Sought is possession of a 2018 Chevrolet Trax.

Crash suit

Vera Kasradze, 105 North Shore Drive, Albrightsville, has filed a civil action seeking damages as the result of an automobile crash. Defendants are Stevie R. Kates, 133 Danner Rd., Jim Thorpe, and Lev Shcheglov, 105 North Shore Drive, Albrightsville.

The suit states on July 17, 2020, Kasradze was a passenger in a vehicle operated by Shcheglov traveling northbound on Route 903 in Kidder Township and approaching the intersection with Smith Road. The suit states Kates was driving a vehicle eastbound on Smith Road.

The suit alleges at the intersection Kates negligently entered the northbound lane of 903 and his vehicle collided with Shcheglov’s vehicle causing it to leave the roadway and crash into a building causing significant injuries to Kasradze, which are detailed in the suit.

Sought are damages in excess of $50,000 against the defendants.
