Liquor violations listed in Schuylkill

The Allentown enforcement office of the state police cited two Schuylkill County businesses for violations of the state liquor code.

Rosies Tavern & Grill Inc., 22 Coal St., Middleport, was cited on Feb. 27 for permitting smoking and transporting malt or brewed beverages without a license on Nov. 19, Dec. 29 and 31, 2021, and March 5 and April 16.

Klingerstown Country Inn Inc., 92 Main St., Klingerstown, was cited for failure to comply with the order of the administrative law judge mandating responsible alcohol management certifications during the period of April 7 through May 10.

These charges will be brought before an administrative law judge who has the authority to impose penalties ranging from $50 to $1,000 for minor offenses up to $5,000 for more serious offenses. In addition, the judge can also impose a license suspension or revocation of the license based on the severity of the charge brought.
