Palmerton Borough Council took the following action on Thursday:

• Transferred Public Works employee Frank Haas from the Water Department to the Streets Department.

• Offered employment to Ross Greenzweig as an employee in the Water Department.

• Hired Devon White and Justin Herrmann as summer help at the rate of $10 an hour.
