“I think we really need to do something with that merry-go-round,” Weissport Councilman Tom Ketchledge said.

“It’s looking really rough. I think it’s time we take it off of there and get it fixed before someone gets hurt on it.”

The merry-go-round in the Weissport Playground on Allen Street needs new wood and needs to be painted. Volunteers from the Weissport Borough Council and others will meet at 9 a.m. on July 31 in the Weissport Playground to begin the process of making the repairs.
