July 6, 1999 - Lance Leone has a big day at the plate and on the mound to help the Birches cruise to a 21-2 Northampton County Legion victory over Wilson. Leone pitches a three-hitter in his five innings of work, allowing just two third-inning runs. He helps his own cause by collecting three hits and scoring a pair of runs. The winners, who explode for eight runs in the second and 10 in the third, receive two hits, three runs and two RBIs from Zach Kozicki. Pat McGoldrick also adds a pair of hits and three runs for the Birches, who improve their record to 16-4.
