A nurse practitioner at a Monroe County location has been charged with indecent assault.

State police at Stroudsburg said on April 27 troopers began an investigation of an indecent assault reported at the Lehigh Valley Physicians Group, Endocrinology, located at 179 Independence Road, Smithfield Township. Troopers said a 70-year-old woman from Bushkill said that she had been inappropriately touched while being treated by her nurse practitioner, Timothy Clark, 50, of Scranton.

Troopers said Clark was charged on June 15.
