For the second day of the July 4 weekend, Beltzville State closed its beaches by 9 a.m.
The park announced it would close when it reaches the capacity of 900 vehicles in the parking lot.
Monday morning, vehicles were in line before 6 a.m.
The beach was closed Sunday by 9 a.m. As a result people reported backups on Lentz Trail as visitors waited in line for Mauch Chunk Lake park.
This morning Mauch Chunk Lake was closed by 8:30 a.m.
Before this weekend Beltzville was closed because of capacity six times so far this year.
