State police at the Fern Ridge barracks have released the details of a motorcycle crash that happened at 5:44 p.m. May 30 on Route 903 in Jim Thorpe. Two people sustained suspected serious injuries.

Police said William A. and Irene Boscia, both 76 and of Jim Thorpe, were transported to the St. Luke’s Hospital-Carbon, Franklin Township, by Lehighton Ambulance Association personnel.

Police said William Boscia was driving the 2015 Harley Davidson motorcycle southbound when he lost control of it. The cycle traveled off the right side of the road and struck a large boulder.
